Ryan's Day, Too!

And our birthday roll continues...

Ryan is the husband of Den's daughter Kim.

I first met him in 1999. I just sat there in awe over the way he was so hands on with his baby Emily. Whatever she needed...diaper, to be fed, entertained...he was there doing it. I remember how he would place her little swing by the table while we all ate breakfast. That way he could feed her, while also flipping the pancakes.

Now let's hear Dennis' summary of this great son in law of his:

"Well, to tell you the truth...Ryan is really nothing to brag about. Just kidding, Ry. I always have a good time with him. In fact, his sense of humor is about the same as mine. We both laugh at a lot of things when others might not "get it." He is a terrific Dad to my grandchildren and the same kind of husband to my daughter. His family and the Gospel are most important to him. He is very knowledgeable about the Internet and is always willing to answer my questions. He and Kim always have some kind of new project in the works. He's a fun guy to have around in the family. Happy Birthday, Ry! You're the man!"

We hope you have a most wonderful birthday, Ryan!
You deserve it!!

Thanks Jill for spotlighting Ryan. He is a wonderful husband and father and I am very, very grateful. I love to watch him and my dad talking because it's as if they were the best of friends, too. Well, I think they are. I love that.

I think both Ryan and Mike have similar traits as your dad. They are all very devoted to their families, and to the church. They are all just so down to earth, too. Your Dad has said many, many times to me, "I am so thankful my daughters married such good men."

Oh and btw, Ryan made me feel so welcome in your home that time I came to meet you all.

Again, a beautiful post. We love them so much. It helps us get to those we haven't met yet. Loved the pictures. Love, Dad and Susan

This certainly is the "birthday week/month" on your blog. I love the 'hands-on' dads like Ryan and Mike. Ryan looks like a fun dad. Happy Birthday to Ryan!

Ryan or "Ry-Dog" as we love to call him is such a great guy. He is one of the most giving and generous people I know, and does so in such a humble way. Happy birthday Ryan!
