Macie

This gorgeous baby arrived 8 years ago today.
She was going to be named Morgan Macie, but they decided instead on Macie Morgan.Macie is such an interesting child. She is very determined when she wants to do something...and if she doesn't, well, she just does not worry about it. I wish I could be as easy going.

I remember the very first time I met Macie. She was only 3, and she came over to our home with Amy. She was dressed in a little short play outfit, complete with brand new dressy church shoes. Amy said those were the shoes she wanted to wear, so she did!

I was also impressed that she had a mom who 'did not sweat the small stuff' and let her wear those shoes. Remember, this was the very first time I met both Amy and Macie. Amy could have been more worried about the impression she was making on Logan's mother. Instead, she was more concerned about her little girl's feelings. That in turn, impressed me immensely. No wonder I loved Amy and Macie from the beginning.

Macie has such a good attitude. She puts this big smile on her face and she is ready. She has what I call "people charm" I hear the kids at school just love to be with her.

I hope Macie and Elora have some great memories of the year we had Grandma Honey school.
I sure do.
Macie is not a big talker. If she has something to say, she says it. Otherwise she doesn't.
A shrug of her shoulders is sometimes a paragraph from her.
What an adorable dancer!
A million dollar smile our Macie has!!!!
She can light up anyone's day!

Macie is EIGHT years old!! What a special year this will be for her. She will be baptized soon, and she will get to be the big sister to a little brother and sister! We love you Macie!!!
Happy 8th Birthday!!

Thank you Ronnell. Be sure and let me know when you get a blog so I can see your grandchildren too! I'm sure they have grown and changed so much since I last saw pictures of them.

Macie looks like she is the happiest child ever! What cute pictures and a very cute girl!! I'll bet all of the grandchildren look forward to their birthdays just so they can see how you'll celebrate their day on your blog. I'm sure she will love being the "big sister" to those twins!

Call me crazy but doesn't she look like Robin and Whitney? She is so cute. I love her name. I wanted Robin to name Brooke that.

Happy Birthday. Have a great day.

I don't ever seem to have time to blog Jill but I do have a folder on my Facebook page with pictures of them in it. They are all growing up way too fast. Our oldest Colby will be 12 in April and our youngest is 20 months now. Where does time go?

Macie is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I am so impressed with all the wonderful things you've shared with us. I'm struck by how Amy knows how to bring CHOICE "spirits" into her home. Macie has so many talents and virtures. Have a wonderful year Macie!

Jack's proud moment

Jack could hardly believe his good fortune  when they put the 4 year olds in charge of the fire!
