McKay, Tyler, and Logan

The post yesterday reminded me of a similar conversation I had with Logan when he was 11.
Here it is exactly from my journal:

"Last week as the boys saw Christopher Reeve on the Disney Channel I said, "I remember when he was on a soap opera Daddy and I use to watch each morning at 10:30am"

Logan: "Really?! What was the name of it?"

Me: "I think it was called "Love of Life"

Logan: "Wow, what part did he play?"

Me: "I think he was a boyfriend."

Logan: "Did he make lots of money?'

Me: "Well not as much as he makes now."

Logan: "Wow, I can't believe my Dad was a movie star and I didn't even know it."

Oh and just so you will know, I gave up my foolish ways of soap operas many many years ago.

I didn't know Bill was a movie star either, other than Rescue 911.

Same as Richard and Kathy. I never knew this about you. Married to a movie star. What other secrets do you have?

I am glad you gave up the soaps. I don't like them either.

I have a pretty amazing story about Tyler, his dad, and Santa Claus to tell you sometime that this reminded me of.

So cute!
I think it's wonderful you kept a journal.
I have one somewhere from when mine were little but I can't locate it!
I've started one for the grandkids too.

I gave up soap operas too!
All the best,
Eileen

What a funny conversation but typical of young kids. It makes you wonder if after they ask questions, do they really listen or do they come up with their own answers :-)

Jack's proud moment

Jack could hardly believe his good fortune  when they put the 4 year olds in charge of the fire!
