I came across this yesterday.
My mother wrote this in 1997...about my Dad.
So after reading it,
I went to sleep last night and had a dream about her.
My mom is so much herself in this list. The last 4 years of her life she was lost to Alzheimer's. Sometimes I have a hard time remembering her before the disease took over.
So it was like she was back again, just reading this.

What an absolute precious gift this list is to you and your siblings! You can't help but see the love your mom had for your dad. I did enjoy her sense of humor in the comment on number 21 about him not being perfect.

I love this list. Paul is my #11. I call him at work and tell him I have an emergency...How do you spell..? He always laughs and helps me. I also love #21. You Mom must have been funny. I too have learned that the BEST of men can still be typical. The same is true for women. The BEST of women are typical too.
This is precious Jill. I loved it. Your dad did too. It brought tears to his eyes. He is a good man and your mom was priceless. A true love story--the two of them. Love, Susan
SUSAN...And you and Dad have a love story too. We all love you and are so thankful you are a part of our family.
That is really sweet, and sad too. I hate alzheimers, in so many ways it's worse that just losing someone entirely.
Isn't it wonderful you saved these things only so you could find them when you needed them?
Thanks, Jill, for your prayers for Callie and our family at this time.
