Loving Conference!

President Utchdorf quoted Leonardo Di Vinci during yesterday's morning session:
"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication."

So this morning I opened the windows and watched the sun come up while lying in bed.
A perfect way to begin Day 2 of conference.

Love this quote Elder Richard G Scott:
"We become what we want to be by consistently being what we want to become each day...Righteous character is a precious manifestation of what you are becoming...
The bedrock of character is integrity."

This is probably why, as my sons were looking for wives, that I told them THE most important thing to look for is character.
And they did good.

I'm ready for more learning and inspiration.

Jill,
You are always so sweet. We loved conference too and getting to be up at Richards with Tyler Karen Jake Katie Lindsay and Richard. I always feel so inadequate when I listen to Conference but in a really hopeful way like I know I can do better!

Oh McKenna, I am so glad to know this. Do you know if anyone took pictures??

I'm going to try to call you tomorrow for details!

McKenna...I just reread my comment. when I said, "I am so glad to know this" I was talking about the fact that you were all together at Richard's for conference! I DIDN'T mean, I was so glad to know you are going to do better!! :)

Jack's proud moment

Jack could hardly believe his good fortune  when they put the 4 year olds in charge of the fire!
