short and sweet

Den and I were at Trader Joes the other night.

While I was checking out the new pepper shakers,
Den suddenly said,

"Look, there's McKay and McKenna."
(my 3rd son and his girlfriend)

"Huh??..... Where?"

"Right there! Look up."

So I did.It's a stretch, but okay.

I wish I had turned the camera on the clerk watching Den take this picture. She looked completely baffled so Den said, "They look like our son and his girlfriend." Like that explains everything.

That is sweet!
Well, as far as I can see (and that is from afar with just posts and pictures) Dennis is right, that 'look', that 'over the moon for each other' look is a definite reminder to me of McKay and McKenna. And aside from that, the picture itself is not that much of a stretch.
Very cute!
All the best,
Eileen

Yes, it does. Wonder if they posed for that and didn't tell you. Remember Jason and Robin were on the cereal box.

Yep...it looks like the Mc's could have posed for this :-) I wonder how many things Dennis sees throughout the day on his own that if he had your camera with him could be entries for your blog???

Hmmmm. Have Brock do a cartoon drawing of the Mc's and then see if there is a resemblance. Of course the important thing is this: Does McKenna shop at Trader Joe's? Or would she if they had one in Provo? This is important stuff. Love, Dad and Susan

I love this post! I'm still working on an email back to you with some pictures from the Las Vegas trip! I'm also giving McKay a haircut tonight and I'll do my best to give him that little front curl :)

So cute!

Jill, You asked me how to put larger photos on your blog.

In typepad I can specify the size of my photos when I upload. I did some research and in blogger it works differently.

Here is a link to a tutorial on posting larger images on blogger.

Hope that helps!

I always wondered what I'd look like as a cartoon, but I can never quite get up the nerve to try those websites that turn yuour photo into a cartoon.

Regarding my last post, Jill, I actually drive uphill to get to work. Show Low (where Jeff & Dana's family lives) is at 6,200feet. I live on Navajo County land between Show Low and Pinetop-Lakeside, but I have a Lakeside address because that post office handles my mail. Our house is located at 7,000 feet, and Pinetop-Lakeside (where the school is located) is 7,200 feet. So I drive 200 feet higher during the 3-mile drive to work, and it's downhill when I return home at the end of the day. I love our mountain!

Nice one Mom! That's pretty funny. Unbeknownst to you we posed for this very poster while we were there for Halloween.

Jill, who is Mary that posts on your blog...Joel Weeks lives in Show Low. I stay in touch with him...it is a small place. Maybe Mary knows the Weeks family??

Richard, It's Mary Butler, who is Mary Carter now. You remember the Butlers from 8th ward, right? They moved away in the very early 70s I think.

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
