Ashley's Bridal Shower

Welcome to my niece Ashley's bridal shower

Okay, so I don't know how to use my camera very well yet.
So my daughter in law Erin was the photographer.

She takes excellent photos.
That girl has talent, as you will see below.

First, the food.

Peggy, Suzanne, and I, made the soups.

How do you like the vintage looking napkins?
To me, they look like something from the 1950s!

Erin insisted I show the tacky picture below.
I had to stop the party for a sec so I could remove one of the price tags off my gift.

3 generations below. My sister Peggy. Her daughter Carly. And baby Jude.
I love this picture of my sister in law Suzanne, with Jonas.

Amy and I were discussing some drama.
Looks intense.

Ashley opening all her very practical pantry gifts.

The SISTAS with one cousin.
Sam (the cousin), McKenzie, Ashley, Brooke, Lauren

This Friday Ashley and Andrew will be Mr. and Mrs!

This looks like such a YUMMY and beautiful occassion.

I was really sorry I had to miss it, but I did enjoy getting together with my 3 girls, 3 granddaughters and 9 month old great-granddaughter, Bryn, in Sacramento.

So, since I did miss it, you have no idea how much I looked forward to this blog so I could enjoy it vicariously. Thanks so much.

And, Ashley, your shower gift will be delivered before the wedding!!!

Love, Susan

Erin, you did a fabulous job of taking pictures even in spite of MY losing the instructions and it being trial and error. If I had taken them, oh my...well, they wouldn't be posted.

I've had fun catching up on your life this morning. It looks like you've had a wonderful time over the holidays. I love the pictures of you mid-conversation! What WERE you talking about? It does look intense!

It's terrible Natalie but I don't remember. I need to call Amy today and ask her. I think she was telling me something shocking but can't remember what! This is what happens when you are 55 :(

Absolutely gorgeous pictures of this special event!!! I am so very happy for you all and the many opportunities to get to be together. How does everyone fit these gatherings into their busy holiday schedules!?! Your loved ones certainly have a strong commitment to set priorities. An enviable trait.
I FINALLY got to see your new flooring, furniture, etc. The red walls are the BEST!
p.s.....please send me an e-mail so my reply will get to you. I have something for you to see.

I'm so sad I missed this! Sometimes living in UT is the pits.

Congratulations to the happy couple! The shower looked fabulous! Nice welcome on the front door with the pretty heart/rose wreath! I loved the food and the decorations, and those napkins! AND that cake!
But mostly I loved the pictures of your family!
Very nice, Jill!
All the best,
