On New Years Day we found this on our front porch:6 pack of 7up and 2 pkgs of gourmet microwave popcorn with this little note on top:We have NO idea who left it.
The timing was incredible because I rarely have soda in our house, yet, Karen, Tyler and McKay were working hard vacuuming, scrubbing bathtubs and sinks, and mopping floors...as soon as the 7-up came in the door they wanted some. So out came the cups and ice. The cute pkg was quickly dismantled.
The hard thing about having an anonymous friend, is, we can't thank them!
Don't you think this was just such a sweet, warm, cozy surprise for us?

What a cute idea and timely since you had your kids there who drink soda. Hopefully your anonymous friend reads your blog and will see your 'thank you'. This person is right...you 'is' a great family!
What a cute and clever idea. It is good that there are still people out there doing great things. I agree with what the note said.
Nice!
Say, Jill, check your email. I'm sending you something you'll like!
It was your dad & Susan.
Yep, it was REALLY cute.
=)
Yes, that can drive you crazy..glad the mystery might be over.

Looks like you've entertained an angel unaware! What a great idea and I love the slogan that came with it. Happy New Year!
Cute idea! We had an Anonymous Secret Santa this year that did the 12 Days of Christmas for us....it was fun but like you, I don't know who to thank!
I love those little surprise gifts! It is frustrating because you want them to know how much you appreciate their thoughtfulnss, but for them the anonymity is part of the fun.
This is a really cute idea! I might steal this! :) Love your blog, Jill! It's always so fun to read!
Gee...I wish it was I who was so kind and thoughtful. But...that is pretty COOL that it was much appreciated & you got a CLEAN HOUSE TOO! LUCKY GRANDMAHONEY you.
Thanks for the sweet and wonderful message you left me. I LOVED it because your voice brought me a level of peace & love that truly moved me.
Things are fine. My mom is having a hard time & I'm not a babyer which is probably a bad thing. My dad passed 5 hours after I turned over my dad's care to the Hospice RN. I wish I would have done it sooner. Not because of the expediency, but because he would have had the level of care he wanted. Hospice & hospitals have two different missions and thus my dad should have had it from the moment they todld us he had 1 month. Oh well...these things did give us experience and now I know better & will do better. Thanks again and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I love this idea!
How sweet of the 'gifters'! And how nice for you to be the recipients! I think this is a wonderful idea and I'm going to keep it in mind for future use.
Thanks for sharing!
All the best,
Eileen
