Jill, this is so darling. It makes me cry because it reminds me of all the movies my first husband and I took of our first two girls (Sue being one of them) Every time they turned around it seemed we were taking movies of them. I had reel after reel, totally piles of them. We stored them in our attic, along with all my mom's letters to me and other important papers. When we sold our house, we moved out a week early and got most of our things, but were coming back the next day to get some small things that didn't go in the moving van. When we got there we discovered that all of our stuff was gone. We called the buyer and she told us that she threw out all the stuff in the attic because she thought we had just left the stuff we didn't want. The rest she donated. She wasn't even supposed to get possession for another week. We were able to get back my mom's silver but that was all. All the movie film went into the garbage, which had been picked up that morning. Can you just imagine how awful I felt? I still mourn all those wonderful movies. I know why you treasure yours so and your Tyler was absolutely adorable. He's pretty darned good looking now too. I'm so glad you have these videos of him and I hope you have lots of them of the rest of the family.
How cute is this!!!!! And also I thought you told me you couldn't sing? These home videos are so priceless! I read Darlene's comment and I can imagine how she felt with all of her film going to the garbage. You are so blessed to have your videos!
Awww.. I love seeing you back then, Jill. Very sweet. Darlene, we lost all our old movies the same way. They were in a bag, and somehow accidently got tossed in the dump. We all mourn those so much!
I am horrified over those of you who got your videos dumped out on accident. What a crushing blow!
I also know what you mean Sue...I was not into taking lots of pictures and videos back then...it was all so expensive and we thought our kids would be little forever anyway.
Thankfully their Dad loved taking videos. And this was at a time when few families had video cameras. They were huge and had to be put on a tri pod We also had to have a very bright light shining on us off to the side. We were continually telling our kids, "Don't look at the light!"
I love this! Unfortunately, Tyler claims that he doesn't remember the primary song. . .otherwise I'd have him sing it again for you. (But it would probably be less adorable.)
Kris~~~ Tell Rachel to keep singing so she won't forget it like Tyler apparently did. Although, I don't think he really forgot it... it's in him somewhere!
If I didn't know any better, I'd have thought that was recorded today! HOW CUTE YOU TWO ARE! LOVED it! Did you convert the oldies to dvd's @ Costco or something? SO COOL if you did !

That was so adorable. I think it would be cute to see an "updated" version of it.
Wow, I was way off key. Where did you get that video? I don't ever remember watching it.

So cute! I wish I had more videos of my kids. For some reason, we just didn't make them a priority. We weren't even that good at pictures.
Now I'm sorry!
=)

Now you can take an entire video with your phone!
I think you and Tyler are BOTH very cute!! Thanks for sharing!

Tyler is so cute! What a fun video, I have been trying to get better at taking pictures and videos of my kids, they grow so fast!

Absolutely precious! You are so blessed to have captured this on video! You look exactly the same Jill...you never seem to age!
Aahhhh! That was so cute! Rachel and I had fun watching that this morning! Now guess what Rachel is singing? :)
Yeah right Kathy :)

Oh, Jill, this is so touching! It brought tears to my eyes.
And you really do look the same!
And both you and Tyler have such sweet voices.
I really enjoyed seeing this.
