Parts of Elora's news interview

Here are a few clips of video from my camera.
It starts with the camera guy asking Elora if she felt scared making the 911 call when her little sister was having a seizure.

I have pictures to download, but I'm not getting a lot done today with my husband home, as sweet as he is. I can see that I am going to have to learn to focus. Otherwise I will just spend every day, all day, talking to him!

My goodness, Elora has such poise! She's really wonderful and you must all be so proud of her, Jill!
I love how she remained so calm calling 911 and keeping her wits about her during the call. Kudos to Elora, and to her parents, they are raising such a responsible, dependable girl! I loved seeing this.

And I can see how having your husband home would be a nice distraction, it must be wonderful to have his company! Everyday a holiday! Enjoy!
Love and Prayers,
Eileen

It appears that Elora did not think what she did was such a big deal.

Elora did a great job! She is a great example to other kids. I recorded channel 30 news last night but didn't see her on there. I would like to watch it on the news. Mom, did you record it?

How very cool! I guess I missed something, because this was all news to me. I'm happy to hear Elora's call had a good ending.

As for husbands distracting us from our blogging, have you noticed how my posts have decreased in number since Ed and I got married? It is definitely tempting to spend more time with our men and less with our computers!

She is sooooo cute! She looks just like a little grown-up, with her cute short hair and confidence!

What a sweetheart!!! Elora, we are so proud of you! You can just tell how those reporters are so enthralled with her. And for good reason! So poised, charming and mature beyond her years! What a brave little girl. We love you Elora! And we are also so very grateful that Cami is ok. Our thoughts and prayers are with Brock and Erin right now.

Jack's proud moment

Jack could hardly believe his good fortune  when they put the 4 year olds in charge of the fire!
