How are you with wrapping gifts?

Do you enjoy it?
I don't.

As soon as my boys knew how to use scotch tape, they would wrap their brothers' gifts for me. This was even before they knew how to cut! But when Dennis entered the family 11 years ago he took over! Bless him!

McKay's old bedroom has become Christmas central.
You're doing a great job honey!

How about you?
Do you wrap your gifts? Do you enjoy it?

Here's a gift I received in 1985. TYLER!
I didn't wrap this one either, but I did deliver it.
The best Christmas ever.
Baby Tyler's face looks so squishy. Good thing he outgrew that.

Dennis is a JEWEL!!! However, how can he compete with a Christmas-wrapped brand new baby? Probably none of the gifts he's wrapping will surpass that!!! Aside from that, I repeat, Dennis is a JEWEL!!! Love, Susan

heehee about Tyler's squishy mug.

And NO, I do NOT like to wrap presents. I do it as quickly and messily as possible.

I think that's the first time I've been referred to as an 'it.' But you know, I actually dress like that for Christmas still.

Sorry Tyler...but I was referring to you as a gift when I wrote that...you know, keeping with the theme of the post :) You are definitely not an IT.

I don't like to wrap presents, so I am happy to make "gift bags" out of cloth and reuse them year after year. No more wrapping presents. Just drop the gift in the bag and pull the drawstring. Works like a charm. My husband dislikes wrapping even more than ME. I often received my gifts in a paper bag! I understand.

Awww, beautiful baby boy. We just watched the video below about the birth of the Savior and when Nathan saw the picture of Tyler, he said "Baby Jesus!" Hehe.

If I ever got ahead of things I would probably enjoy wrapping, but every year I put it off until the end so it becomes a chore. I think Dennis is the only man I know of that likes to wrap gifts!!I love the cute picture of Tyler!! Definitely he has been your best Christmas gift!

Dad rocks! I always love looking at the gift and seeing his very distinctive writing on there. I know that may sound odd, but it's true. :)

I don't mind wrapping a few gifts, but I've always done all the wrapping. It took five hours this year.

My husband thought that was excessive - he went on and on about it - so it's his job next Christmas. Should be interesting.

No, I do not enjoy wrapping presents all that much. It's not so bad anymore as we don't ALL exchange, we just pick one name out of a hat and buy for that one person, so now it's mostly just the few things for the grandkids that need wrapping and Ray does that! I remember when our kids were little we took one or two nights where we put a few hours aside and we wrapped them together, having him there was a big help and made the time go fast.

The one gift I have to wrap (and two others for two close friends) I don't mind wrapping at all. When it's just a few like that, I enjoy fussing over them, choosing just the right paper, ribbons, and bows.

'LOVE your 1985 gift! (Our youngest son Andrew was born November of that year).
Love and Prayers,
Eileen
PS ~ I tried to view the video from your last post but it wouldn't work for me. I'll try again now.

I like wrapping the gifts. It's like the icing on the cake...it's pretty and it's FINISHED. I have a Christmas baby too...that was special! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

I don't like to very much. I am impressed with your production.
Tyler looks so sweet.

It's fitting that Tyler was born during this time of the year a perfectly wrapped GIFT!

And Dennis is a GIFT that doesn't need wrapping. He's beautifully packaged all by himself!

Jack's proud moment

Jack could hardly believe his good fortune  when they put the 4 year olds in charge of the fire!
