Just got this list.
My question: Have you read any of these?
If so, do you recommend them, or not?
I'd really like to know.
I've read March's selection and could hardly put it down.
I started January's selection a few weeks ago...half way through and LOVING it!
The other 9 books I don't have a clue about yet, that's why I'm asking you.

The only one I've read is Kathryn Soper's book. It was excellent.
And I bought Pres. Monson's book for Dave for Christmas, so I'll be reading that one soon, too.
Good list!
=)
Adam Carolla wrote a book title "In 50 Years We'll All be Chicks - ...And Other Complaints from an Angry Middle-Aged White Guy". Why wasn't this one on the list?

I haven't read any of those books, but I plan on copying them down and going on the hunt for them!
I read back on all I missed here, and I loved your random Christmas things, very nice things that stuck with you this Season. And EIGHTEEN grandchildren! Lucky lady! You are so Blessed!
I enjoyed seeing a little of your Christmas Eve celebration, great video and I loved how Jonas was just so interested in eating!
Wonderful Christmas gifts, right from the heart! My favorite kind of gifts.
We were sent an Edible Arrangement too this year, but no card enclosed! Mystery was finally solved when my Aunt Florence asked if we ever got it!
Great posts, Jill, I enjoyed them all!
I have Jayden home this week, and lots of visitors coming in and out, so I've tried to set up posts ahead of time but I'm not sure if blogger will cooperate. We'll see.
And I'll try to stop by for visits here as often as I can.
But just in case time slips away I want to wish a very Blessed New Year to you and your beautiful family. All the best!
Love to you,
Eileen
I have read "The Life of our Lord" by Charles Dickens, and really enjoyed it! Looks like you are going to have some interesting reading this year!
sounds interesting. I'm afraid I can't help you...i haven't even heard of any of these except Pres. Monson's and I haven't read it. Be sure and post book reviews when you finish them...have fun!
I've read "The Year of Living Biblically" and liked it. It wasn't as good as his first book "The Know-It-All"--but still enjoyable. I also am a big fan of Barbara Ehrenreich. Her book "Nickel and Dimed: On Not Getting By in America" is a must read.
I haven't read any of these books but I have heard of some of them. I have The Life of Our Lord and To the Rescue(Tom got it for Christmas) He has been reading it and he said it is good. I have read a little of the Dickens one. You will really like it. Let me know about that Year of Living Biblically. That sounds interesting.
I've read The Westing Game. It was a sort of mystery. It was awhile ago, but I think I remember liking it.
The Life of Our Lord - is sweetly wonderful. I purchased a copy for each of our children and gave them out on Christmas Eve. I ordered the book from my local library and the book came from the University of Utah - AND it was a first edition 1934! IT was so fun to hold, read and look at it!
Thanks Nat for the thumbs up about Barbara Ehrenreich...I'd never heard of her before. Also, about the Year of Living Biblically. You've given me the added incentive to go forward with these.
Grandmother Fairy and Sharon...Thanks for the endorsement on The Life of our Lord. I hadn't heard of that one either.
Julie...Well I'm not usually into mysteries but I guess I will be reading one in June! If you didn't like it, I'm sure you would have remembered that.
Dad was telling me about you reading the book, "Living to 100." It sounds fabulous! I need to go get myself a copy!
