Victorian Rose Cottage Tradition

We had our annual lunch here today.
Erin, Elora, and Erin's mom Lynn.
To be in this place is like being in a world all its own.

Last summer I did a post on it here.
This time I wanted to focus on the stunning art...the ones I liked best. While I was hobbling around with my bad foot taking pictures, Elora said to me,
"Grandma Honey, I don't blame you. I walk crooked sometimes, too."

Elora fell in love with this "Cinderella shoe."

Gorgeous decor

Elora looking suspiciously from the corner of her eye
at my camera. Which explains why I didn't take many pictures of her today.

We missed Aunt Twila (Lynn's sister) this year.
She is in Missouri helping her brother and sister- in- law with their quadruplets!

I sure wish I could help!

The art work is gorgeous!! What a nice tradition you guys have and one that Elora will always remember. You are a trooper Jill for going when your feet hurt!

How fun! I love the art work too. I love traditions that bring us closer to the ones we love. My goodness, I can't imagine raising quadruplets! I've been catching up on the last few posts. I always enjoy reading about what's going on in your life. Thank goodness for the internet!

Quadruplets! How fun! God Bless them and their family!

This post was fun! I love all the art work and it's hard for me to pick a favorite!
I just heard from a friend of mine that we have a little tea house not too far from us and it sounds very similar, with the dress-up hats, and the beautiful decor, just as if you are sipping tea in someone's dining room. I'd love to try that sometime! It looks like you had a wonderful time and I'm off to check out your other post on it!

I hope your foot heals soon!
You are in my prayers.
All the best,
Eileen

Good job on the photo shoot Jill! Gotta love Victorian era. Anna & I ate there once & saw Bev with Pam & Candace in there. We all sat at the same table & had a nice time. That was my first & only time but I did like the quaintness of it all.

You're still hobbling, I guess.

My Grandma Haley used to have a "Cinderella shoe" just like that one! I wonder what became of it?

Thank you Jill for sharing your pictures. A lovely place to go and enjoy. I'm so sorry I missed it this year, hopefully next year I can rejoin the party.
I came home this evening from the babies, they are growing and starting to respond with simply beautiful smiles. Thanks for thinking of me!

I'm so sorry I spelled your name wrong, Twila. I will fix it right now.
Fun to know the babies are smiling now!!
