Another broken bone

Remember how our grandson Robbie crashed his bike and broke his leg last September?

Well 2 days ago he was jumping off a swivel chair and broke his ARM.
His Mom (Kim) actually HEARD IT BREAK!

The little patient on Sunday night.

A slam dunk diagnosis wouldn't you say?

Robbie is having quite the eventful year of Kindergarten.
(And don't forget he had surgery between both accidents to have his tonsils and adenoids out.)
And it's only January.
And he's only 6.

Something tells me Robbie didn't get to go skating with Aunt Kris and cousin Rachel today!

Oh my gosh! That poor little guy. He looks like a real trouper though. In a way, he is probably proud of the fact that he has had two broken bones. I know our only son was. He didn't start quite so early though. When he got to Little League and Pop Warner, it seems we had him in the emergency room on a regular basis. He was also plucky and the reason he had so many broken and sprained bones is that he threw his body wherever it needed to go, regardless. I am a bit unhappy to say that at age 48 he is still the same way.

Robby has quite a reputation to live up to now! I think it's just the beginning. How can siblings compete with this? He looks like a good sport. Hope all will go well in the future. Love, Dad and Susan

Oh no! That poor little guy. He sure has bad luck, but hopefully he is done with the broken bones for the rest of his life. It's a good thing Kris was there to catch Rachel. Roller skating is usually when kids get broken bones. I hope Robbie has a speedy recovery!

Poor guy. I hope this is it. He has more than filled hi quota for broken bones.

He is such a sweetheart! His eyes just kill me!

We had a ton of fun at the roller rink today, but I'm pooped! Thank goodness no broken bones!

Hi Jill!
Yes, this has been "just another day in the life of Robbie" it seems! :) I think I cried more than he did when he broke it. I felt so bad for him! He's got such the sweetest spirit though and is really doing well.

Life is an adventure at their house, to say the least! He looks like a little trooper though, guess that's a good thing if accidents are going to continue ~ but lets hope they don't! What a cutie...

Oh, my goodness! Poor Robbie!
We had a nephew like that, my sister-in-law Susie spent so much time in the ER with Adam! He was always falling, and it started when he was only a year old and in a walker, he fell off the end of an outdoor deck and broke his little collar bone! From there it was one trip after another to the Emergency Room with all kinds of fractures, breaks, cuts, and scrapes. Adam is twenty-five years old now, and still all in tact!
'Hope Robbie is a fast healer! I'm sure he'll have lots of stories to tell when he's twenty-five too!
He really is such a cute little boy! And he's ALL BOY!
Love and Prayers,
Eileen

Jack's proud moment

Jack could hardly believe his good fortune  when they put the 4 year olds in charge of the fire!
