He stunned the crowd

Have you seen this?  I love it!

O! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand Between their loved home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Who knew? Now we do know. Great second verse. Odd that this is posted on sECULARsTUPIDEST.com. Sounds like an oxymoron. Dad and Susan

I love this. It brought tears to my eyes. Why isn't this plastered all over the news?

I know what you mean Susan. We don't understand either why it is posted on that site. And I found out that is actually the 4th and last verse, not the 2nd as he states.

This was great! It brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. I wish all people could recognize the power of God in our nation.

It affected me too that way, Peggy.

AMEN. WHEW!!!! What a way to start my day. That man had an amazing voice. When he first started speaking, you're thinking he's elderly voicing his frail voice, but HOLY COW can HE SING!!!!

This also puts things in perspective because so many of US BELIEVE IN TRUTH & when the time comes YOU WILL KNOW who THEY ARE. Thanks for sharing such a powerful message. So moving.

Wow, that made me tear up! It's funny how many verses after the verse mean so much yet are unknown or forgotten.

And I answered your question at Segullah, but I'll add it here - I AM going to the Segullah retreat in SLC! I'm flying over next week to attend. Excited doesn't begin to describe it!

I loved how the people around him began to stand and put their hands over their hearts as they realized what he was singing. You won't see that behavior at a gathering of liberals!

Jill, this was so moving, really beautiful. Really reinforces faith in my fellow man and makes me feel so happy to know there are so many like-minded people out there. It was wonderful to see so many people rise up out of their seats in respect.
And what a beautiful voice that man has! God Bless him! And God Bless America!
And God Bless you and yours, Jill.
All the best,
Eileen

Jack's proud moment

Jack could hardly believe his good fortune  when they put the 4 year olds in charge of the fire!
