My sister's family

Jeff, Peggy
Jake, Colt, Carly
Samantha, Kaidy, Ty

My oldest son Brock drew this picture.
The kids requested it so they could give it to their parents for Christmas.
Isn't it beautiful?

Brock is so very talented!!! This is a great picture and I'm sure Peggy and Jeff absolutely loved it! Has he considered submitting anything for the Ensign magazine?

Wow. This is awesome. Brock is so talented. I like the way he arranged everyone in the picture. I have always liked Peggy's kids because they have all been very good friends to "my kids".(David and Robin') They are all such good kids. I hope some day Brock will do a picture of your othe sister's family.(Robin's) hint hint.

I didn't know Brock was such an artist! Did he develop that talent as a kid?

Oh my goodness, I am totally impressed. What a treasure! You must be so proud of your son. Did he do it off photographs? Seems like he could market himself, especially around the holidays, to all the college students he knows. Mother's Day is coming up.

The consensus & verdict is made. BROCK is TALENTED. The question is the same..."DOES he do things like this as a side job?" I'd like to know myself.

It's so real. I think drawings have become my NEW favorite works of art. I've come across some of my son's & love how images are portrayed with that kind of medium (?) I don't know art lingo, but I LOVE IT TOO. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

Looking back, Brock showed talent in drawing when he was 5, but I didn't realize it at the time. I thought all 5 year olds drew like that. By the time he was 9 or 10 it was obvious he had talent. I wanted to enroll him in art classes but he wanted no part in that. He did take art in high school and he did art for the school newspaper. For the past several years he does art for math and science text books so he doesn't have lots of time for private drawings although he does do those occasionally. He is also presently writing a book about his Dad so that takes lots of his evening time.
Thank you so much for all the comments. I always appreciate them!!

Let me know when his book is published, I'd like to buy it. That's funny that you thought all five yr olds draw like that!

What book is he writing with his dad?

He is writing a book about his Dad..his death, his life... mostly what transpired during that period of time surrounding his death.

I heard that Brock isn't even his real name, but he uses it as his alias. Kinda like Shakespeare.

I want one! I want one!

No really, Brock has always been an amazing artist, but I think he is getting better and better as time goes on (one of the many perks of getting older).

That is AWESOME!!!!!!! Good job Brock!

I don't know you sister very well but I think Jeff is so cool. He went to girls camp when I did a couple summers ago. He and bro Burnett hosed girls down in the middle of the night. I can't remember if the girls were going to prank the men or out past curfew or what, but as Jeff and Bro Burnett told the story tears of joy were shed. They couldn't contain the laughter. I now tenderly call Jeff "Hoser" when ever I see him.

I will look forward to reading Brock's book! I'll be one of the first in line to request a copy. What a wonderful tribute that will be to his dad! And a valuable contribution to posterity.

What a talent! He seems to have captured their personalities and that has to be the art of it all.

Jack's proud moment

Jack could hardly believe his good fortune  when they put the 4 year olds in charge of the fire!
