Osmonds after the death of Marie's son

Watch this short interview of the Osmonds after the death of Marie's son this past week.
I was just so touched by this, and I think you will be too.

It's really very sweet.

This is what FAMILY is all about!! The Osmonds always rally around and support each other. What a great example of family unity! Thanks for sharing!

This was at first very tender to me. Then it turned into a plug for David's new album.

I was confused. It seemed inappropriate.

It's great they all support Marie. And it's great they support David. But not in the same interview that's about the suicide of Marie's son.

Sorry. Susan

I agree with you Susan that it shouldn't be in the same interview...but I think this was the condensed version so it was all thrown together. I don't think it was originally done like that. Besides, I think it is all along the subject of supporting family...in their struggles and also their successes.

That was a nice video. I feel sorry for her. It would be hard enough going through it in private but to also have to do it in public must be awful.

I sort of agree with what Susan said but I think they were trying to make a point about how they support each other but I think it went a little too far with plugging the album.

I just pulled this statement off the Osmond blog, telling me that this was about his album, but they also talked about Marie...rather than the other way around:

"The Osmond family has turned to one another as they strive to move forward following the suicide of Michael Bryan, Marie's son. Marie's brothers and nephew gathered in Utah on Monday night to support the release of David's new album, "Reflected." They also used this as an opportunity to reflect on the tragedy that has afflicted their tight-knit family."

Okay, I apoligize. I'm probably cranky due to Magic Diet. Thanks for the quote. Susan

No, don't apologize Susan. Dennis read your 1st comment and said, "See, that's what I thought too."
I don't want everyone to always agree with me. :))

The first thing I thought was, "Hey why are they plugging the guy's album?" It took away from the original intent of this interview, in my opinion.

I don't know if you remember, Jill, but Peggi and I spent a couple of years stalking--er, trying to meet--the Osmonds back in 1973-74. We were finally successful and spent some great time with Jay Osmond and the family in Utah. They truly are a close family. I'm grateful to have that sort of family myself. It's comforting to know my siblings will always be there for me, no matter what. I know you Roziers have the same blessing.

I hadn't heard of the death & after seeing your clip I had to google the news. I hate entertainment news, but got the jist of what happened. My heart aches for Marie. Thanks for sharing.

Osmonds should JUST sing. That's all JUST sing. They have beautiful voices.

Jack's proud moment

Jack could hardly believe his good fortune  when they put the 4 year olds in charge of the fire!
