We got to eat breakfast with this very cute couple.
Then they were off to see the movies with Brock and Elora.
After a shopping experience at Trader Joes,
Karen and Tyler came home to make us dinner.
And what a dinner it was.

These pictures don't do the meal justice.
Listen to this: Talipia baked in macadamia nuts, Pina Colada rice, steamed broccoli and carrots with garlic and onion, and rolls. Loved it!! I will have leftovers for lunch.

and then on to Amy and Logan's.
I will be so sad when they fly back to Provo tomorrow!
Thankfully that will not happen until after we get to take them to church with us in the morning.

You guys are having way too much fun. I wish I could have been there to help watch Cami and to help eat the dinner. It sounded so good. Next time Tyler and Karen are in town, they can come and visit us.
So...who is the mastermind of the menu? It sounds like it might be Karen. The food sounds great and they look like they enjoy one another's company...big time! I'll bet Cami had fun with you and Dennis. Enjoy your fun weekend.

Actually Tyler got these recipes from the cooking class he has been taking this semester. He often shares with Karen what he makes as he hands off food to her on campus between classes. However, in the kitchen here she seemed to be the ring leader. I love the skills she has acquired from her catering job. I heard her talking about cross contamination....my kind of girl.
Sounds like everything is going great! Such fun pictures to see!
Wow this looks wonderful. Do they share recipes?
Looks YUMMY! Sounds like you have been having a great time! Logan handled the fire at the smith's perfectly. Very cute! Karen seems like a total doll! You taught your boys well!
Sounds like all the good meals weren't served only on the cruise. This sounds "cruise worthy." We're voting a yes for Karen and we haven't even met her yet. Love, Dad and Susan
BYU catering has seriously upgraded their personnel and menus over the past many years! I had Thanksgiving one year at the ELWC as an LTM missionary and it didn't look anything like what you served.
