Are you looking for a very easy, fun recipe for cookies that even a 4 year old could do?
Well look no more because here it is.
Elora will show you how to make them in just a sec...
But for now, here are the ingredients:
1 cup vanilla frosting with 7 drops of yellow food coloring
32 miniature peanut butter cups (remove papers)
1 pkg fudge striped cookies 32
pieces orange mini Chiclets gum
Elora is 6, and she loved making them. I just set out all the ingredients, showed her how, and away she went.
She is going to give them to her teachers tomorrow.
She made them a card with no prompting from anyone.
Naturally thoughtful, she is.
I found this idea in Taste of Home Magazine, Oct-Nov 2008 issue.

Soo cute!! Her teachers loved them! They each said that they were going to make them with their kids at home. Way to go Grandma Honey!

So happy to hear that! Thank you for telling me, Erin. Elora was just so proud of herself, and I love the way she was determined to make a card to go with it.
What a fun idea. I am going to file this away in my "fun with Grandma" file. Elora is smart beyond her years. I can't believe she did the letter! So cute! (She will make a great visiting teacher someday!!!)
Thanks for this idea. I'm going shopping today and will get all the ingredients so Kylie (just turned 5) can make some for her family! What a good grandma thing to do! Love, Susan and Dad
How cute Jill. Ideas are always great from a kid who likes it.
What a great idea!! I'm sure my grandkids would love to make these. Thanks for sharing the idea.
You & Elora sure know how to have a great time! A fine idea for to begin NOVember!
Get her an agent and get her a show on the Food Network. Move over Rachael Ray. Those look really cute.
We're going to give these a try for Thanksgiving! By the way, I'll be praying for Amy and waiting for an update!
Elora, you did an EXCELLENT job in sharing this cookie idea. I will have to pick some things up to do with the girls.
How CUTE! I might just have to make those. I'm trying to think of a family that doesn't read your blog to give them to....hmm..I'll have to be creative.
I am sad to hear about the twins struggling. It sounds like things are under control for now. That's good! I'll keep their family in my prayers.
I used these with my activity day girls last night. they were a big hit.
