Update on my Dad

My Dad finally started his radiation treatments this past Tuesday. He had his 3rd one today and so far he is without side effects.

Dad says he leaves his home at 2:50pm and is back home by 3:30. He compares it with his favorite movie, "Groundhog Day" since he's doing this every week day...for the next 8 weeks!

Tonight having dinner with us at Sweet Tomatoes.
However, last Sunday when they stopped by for a visit, Susan said my Dad was having pre-radiation fatigue. But when she mentioned they had gone to not one, but TWO dances last weekend...well no wonder! And then tonight at the restaurant we ran into a friend of his (by the last name of Whitt) who was at one of these dances. He said Dad was having TOO good of a time! Invite me to your next dance Dad, so I can get it on video!

Jill, You are so funny and Richard is so funny too! I always get such a kick out of your blogs and especially the comments. It was WONDERFUL having dinner with you tonight. We loved hearing all about the Utah trip and the kids there. And hearing about visitor coming and about baby + baby birth and about wedding plans and just being with you both. Love, Dad and Susan

Your dad is a trooper! He must have an extremely strong constitution.
What kind of dancing does he do?

Those radiation treatments will make a person tired but I'm sure your dad will handle them in stride. That is a cute picture of him and Susan!

Your dad is flat out AMAZING. I totally had to laugh at the Groundhod Day comment. We just saw that the other day and it made his commentary very VISUAL and funny. Your dad has the SPIRIT of LIFE. I love that Jill!

Jack's proud moment

Jack could hardly believe his good fortune  when they put the 4 year olds in charge of the fire!
