when I get this call from Elora,
"Grandma Honey, come outside."
"Why?"
"Just come out here and you'll see."
She has her permit!
It was so exciting when my boys went through this.
But it's different being the grandma of the driver!
As a Grandma the decades pass by like the years use to.
I keep thinking....how can this even be?
I think one of my friends said it best
after I texted her with this news...

Doesn't seem possible that she is old enough to drive, along with my granddaughter! She isn't in a big hurry yet to even get the permit. I think the thought of winter driving is making her nervous. That's great that Elora wanted to have you share in this!
Such an exciting and fun time of life! Elora looks so happy. I'll bet she'll be a very responsible driver.
