Do you know why he would do this?

A few days ago we had someone ring our doorbell, but he didn't
wait for us to answer. But he didn't really leave either. He hovered
by our garage door for at least the 30 seconds of this clip.

I can understand someone ringing the bell and then standing back,
so as to give us our space...but clear back by the garage?

To see if you are home or not? Creepy! Did you open the door? I need the rest of the story!

Because when people are going door to door they know that most people are not home so they don't want to waste any time standing at the door. They place themselves where they can move on as soon as they decide no one is going to answer.

That is strange! I have no idea. Does your door take pictures of whoever is there? I never heard of that either.
