A text from my sister a few nights ago...
I read her text and thought...wow, I was on her kids' emergency
cards for 25 years and didn't even know it!
Then suddenly I thought....wait a sec,
I put her on my sons' emergency cards all those years too!

This is so funny. At least she is related to you. I have been the emergency contact for two or three different friends in the neighborhood for too many years to count and some of those I haven't found out about until after school has been in session for a couple of weeks, but I've never had to go pick up anybody but my only grandchildren.
Several people have told me that they put me down on their kids' emergency forms for years, also. I've never been called though. Nice to know they trusted me that way.

Jill, I would have wanted you on my list, too, if not for the 1,500 mile difference!
This happened to me with a 'long lost friend' and one day years later her son was seriously injured at school and I was still the only one on the emergency list. Was so strange getting that call and I had to drive to the mother's home to deliver the message.

My kids would have all listed either of you if they thought a meal was involved
That's a cool story.
haha
Wonder why she suddenly decided to tip you off!
;)
Oh, wait…because she needed the new address!
