This was humbling...

Whoa, this sure put things into perspective...

Our Sunday School teacher today at the very end of her lesson,
popped all these up on the chalkboard.

I'm pretty sure we're spoiled and don't even realize it. I know I am.

Very humbling, indeed. In graduate school, we were given a 'quiz' to see if we could live in poverty. Questions like how do you apply for food stamps, where are your local food banks, how do you do certain things without electricity, etc....it was an eye-opener. I wish I'd saved it to share with my now 9 and 11 year olds. How lucky we are!

I have seen this or something similar before and it really is humbling. Sometimes I take a lot for granted. Thanks for sharing this. It's a good reminder.

Wow. These are wonderful reminders of how blessed we are…and how much we have to share with others.
