I can't help the way I see them

Do you know what a mother like me does when she is sent a picture like this of her 2 youngest sons?

She really sees them like this:
 Because to a mom…..
No matter how old they become…..
even if that number is age 31 like McKay turned on Sunday…
the images stay like this in her head.

So McKenna invited 10 adults and 11 children, (plus 2 babysitters) to celebrate Saturday night.

Seven of these kids were 3 and under…What a party that must have been!

Grant looks quite happy about everything!

Now is this a cake to behold or what!
Only the finest from McKenna.

So since this mother will always see her sons like this…..

it's a good thing for them they got married and left home.  :)

Thanks for noticing Tyler's hair. The midwife actually said right after he was born, "This baby needs a hair cut!" I waited 6 weeks because I LOVED his hair but finally I had to trim a little off. When he was born and if I stretched it out, it actually came half way down his back.

Cute pictures. I know what you mean. I still see my son as a little boy and he is 26.

It's very true! How I loved to remember my kids when they were little...great times! My babies were bald though...jealous of that hair!! :)

My first 2 were bald so it was quite the surprise when my last 2 had tons of hair. McKey even had sideburns.

I'm so with you as a Mom! You'll have to tell me about that cake it looks gigantic but my vision is so lousy now I can only barely make it out but I did "get" that you see your sons as boys not grown up! Love it!

I can tell we raised our kids in the same time frame, all the clothes your boys are wearing, I think my boys had the very same ones!

I use to get all my boys clothes at yard sales. But my sister did buy the outfits in that last picture.

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
