What is your favorite stain removal?

I've tried many stain removers through the years but I finally found a favorite.
I'm sure it doesn't get out everything, but so far it has surpassed all others I have tried
like Shout, Spray and Wash, and OxiClean.

Dial Gold bar soap.

I just dampen the stain and rub some Gold into it.
I might even scrub it a little by rubbing the fabric together.
Then I throw it in with the rest of the wash. Not the bar of soap, but the clothing.
It's especially good for ring around the collar.

I pretty much keep it on top of my dryer, all ready to use.

I like that it's cheap, you don't have to spray anything, and it works.

And it smells good. My 4 year old grandson has a love for hotels.
So I put this soap by his nose and said, "It smells like a hotel." And he smiled.

I think you have a career in being an AdWoman! Clever post & the comic is hilarious! Is that just a normal bar of Dial Gold or is it specifically designed for stains? Either way...great info!

Wow interesting. Does it have to be the gold? Or can it be the white kind of dial?

I got this idea from a friend of a friend type thing....and she said it needs to be the GOLD Dial. For whatever reason I don't know.

a bar of Fels Naptha ---- just like what great-grandma used --- works the same way as Gold Dial. The cartoons are delightful!

I've never even heard of Fels Naptha! Sounds like a made up name but apparently not. :) I will google it.

What a great tip. I always buy spray and wash or some such thing. The Dial sounds much nicer!

Great idea I will have to try! I usually spray simple green on my stains, but this sounds easier and cheaper! The cartoons are great! Fels naptha is a soap and it's in my "recipe" for homemade laundry soap. I find it at foodmax. :)
