Watch Jo pack

Den and I have a good friend who travels a lot.
She has been just about everywhere and anywhere.
I know she packs light because we often pick her up from the airport.
So I was curious, and asked if we could come see how she does it.

This time she is going to Ohio for 2 weeks. And this is all she is bringing with her.

So I can't quite adopt her ways.
However, there is something she also does that I have done the past  few trips.
She uses her guest bedroom to pack in and begins about 2 weeks before she leaves.
That way she can have her "suitcase" open and add to it as she thinks of things she needs.
Which in her case is very little, and in my case is very much!

I love this! Thanks for sharing her tricks. She must wear all polyester because MY clothes, which are cotton, would definitely arrive wrinkled and need to be ironed. But, I like how organized she is by putting outfits together. So it sounds like she checks nothing and just has two carry ons. Easy as pie!

Amazing...I do the same thing. And I use the spare room for the 'packing room'. I even write in a journal every day, including the weather. pjc

I love this and I love Jo! I still remember her from my visit years ago. And Dennis is a very obedient man when she told him to come lift the bag. She definitely is a good packer. Thanks for sharing this!

I absolutely love how you captured this on video! Jo is a FIRE CRACKER who has taught me ALOT about LIVING. She blows me away with packing & here I thought I was the champ! haha...Ask her if I can link this video to my blog. Normally I just take. : )

Jo is amazing. The last trip I took, for Julia's wedding, I packed a lot more than I usually do just because of weather variations and for different events.

Anna...I ALWAYS pack a lot more than I need. This is one area I don't think I will ever change. But it's nice to see other people can do it better!

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
