Sometimes I don't even have to leave my house....the information just comes knocking at my door.
Then I just take my camera out and press record.
I hope Grandma Heasley sees this because she will notice that Logan is still wearing his Grandpa's shirts
I googled about kiwi skin and learned it has excellent dietary fiber,
and the skin is also a good antioxidant.
All this time I had been peeling it, and putting it down the disposal.

I've always eaten them with the peel. I didn't know that people peeled kiwis until I was in college, I think. That's just how we ate 'em growing up.
Karen...Your Mom was ahead of the game then. That's great you grew up with kiwis. I didn't taste my first one till I was an adult. But I still can't bring myself to eat that brown furry stuff. Maybe I need to think about it for a while longer.
Interesting. I will have to try that.
I starting eating the peel when I married Karen (the Rich girl). It's nature's explanation for her good grades in college.
Tyler, eating kiwi peel is just one of the many good things that have happened since marrying the Rich girl.
My favorite way to eat a kiwi is to cut it in half, scoop out the fruit with a spoon and then when I'm done I turn the skin inside out and eat it with the smooth side touching my tongue. The texture of the skin grosses me out, but if you eat it "inside out" you can avoid that issue. Also, I find the skin to be much more tart than the fruit, but I love it.
Natalie~ It was your family who first introduced me to kiwis. Your Mom use to cut them up and add them to salads at the family potlucks. I had never seen such an odd looking fruit. And yet, you were all eating them as happily as if they were strawberries!
Thank you for the video. It is nice to see real people in action. I would like to acknowledge Logan's professional and intellectual manner of public speaking. And wish him a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I truly did think of him that day despite my location and situation. Your home is gorgeous; I love the colors and arrangements.

Can't imagine eating the skin! And never would have thought it was a healthy idea.
I'm trying to let that new information settle in...
;)
I like it when I learn something new. I have peeled the skin on kiwis just because of the texture of the skin, but I hadn't thought of the benefits of the skin. Thanks for sharing this.
WE ate them with the skins too...we also called them "Teddy Bear Eggs"
Eye opening skin curler for sure! THanks for reminding me there are other things to throw in my smoothie! Logan & Amy have such bright beautiful eyes.
