Update on the Vintage Christmas

Remember a few weeks back I wrote about a friend of mine
who was going to have a Vintage Christmas?

All her kids and grandkids were going to be together
so they decided to all give gifts that were used, or homemade.
I went to see her today and it was fun learning about her gifts.

Here are 2 of the gifts she received that I was able to get pictures of:

One of her daughters in law made her this one.
Now she can keep track of measuring her grandchildren,
and watch how much they grow through the years!

She's planning on putting to the right, little markings along with their names.

And every Grandma needs one of these....
a special step stool for those little tiny ones who come to visit
but can't quite reach the sink to wash their hands.

I've never seen one so cutely personalized.

How darling are those presents. I loved both of them. I hope you had a great holiday. We certainly did. We went to Sue's for Christmas and got to see her whole family, then drove down 101 to our daughter Nikki's house and saw all of her whole family so it was really neat, especially seeing five of my great grandchildren!! The holidays are so fun when there are children around.

It has certainly been a long time since I have posted, but I am finally back. I truly was too busy to even think of getting on this darned computer. I don't like it that much, even if it is new.

I do want to wish you and your whole family a HAPPY NEW YEAR1
