So Amy will know her babies are doing fine....

Amy is in Alabama and missing her babies.
And I am too tired right now to do anything but blog about it.

They arrived at 9am
Thank you Austin and Kylie. Hope you enjoyed your day off.

I couldn't wait to show them my new "game book" as we call it.
It was love at first sight.

 It's an interactive story.
I read, and then they get to put together the animals in the story using legos, that are included.

By my 3rd reading, they needed very little help putting these animals together. I was amazed.
It's recommended for ages 18 mo-4 years.
The twins are 3.
I think older children would enjoy this as well.

Helping is one of their favorite things ever.
So they put away my groceries. Well sort of.

Then it was off to my doctor appt.
The plan was for Dennis to watch them in the waiting room.
(only a man would think he could do crosswords at the same time)

When I returned I asked Den how they were.
He said, "She was exceptionally good, and he was moderately fair."
That's good enough for me!
Then we came home and watched Bubba clean our floors.
That little machine is so fun.
And he always comes back to where we started him.

While Bubba dusted the floors, the twins cleaned the chairs.

And this part of our day surprised me.

Téa enjoyed painting so much, that she literally painted for HOURS.
Most all afternoon, and again after dinner.

She could not get enough of it.
There was more, but this Grandma Honey needs to go to bed.
Goodnight.

'LOVED THIS POST!

And I've been playing 'catch-up' here and I really enjoyed all your videos and seeing the newest grandboys! So sweet! Thanks so much for posting about your trip.

And thanks for visiting with me!
And thanks again for posting McKenna's bread recipe! We have been enjoying it so much! I make it with white flour, and I've made it with wheat flour, and I've made it with shredded cheese, garlic, and Italian seasonings, and sometimes I add a little cinnamon for a breakfast bread, it's wonderful! It's so easy to make and it's delicious! And everyone has been asking for "Jill and McKenna's Peasant Bread" recipe! (That's how I labeled it in my recipe box!)

I haven't been posting much, and probably won't until Jayden goes back to school (busy with Summer Book Reports, shopping for school supplies, visiting relatives, family/friends stopping in, and Ray is on vacation next week so we are going to try and clean out the basement and maybe take a little trip to Delaware). I'll try to visit though!

Take care.
Love and Prayers,
Eileen

Where did you get the book and what is the floor machine?

Hi Rebecca! There are links to both of those on that blog post. For the book, just click on the part that says "game-book" and for the floor machine click on "bubba"

What a fun post to read! I love dad's assessment of how the day went. Cracked me up. Jonas looks so grown up with his haircut!

How fun! I want to go get watercolors for my kids to try now, I wonder if they would love them like Tea?

Heather, I got the water colors at the dollar store. I need to get some more because Téa used most of them up all on Friday!

Natalie~ Den will be happy to know you appreciated his comments! :) I was a little worried about those pictures because it looks like he just scolded them, but he didn't at all. Just their quirky little looks that change by the second...you know how that is.
