Talent of a 5 and 3 year old...and a link

My favorite part of July 4th last week was our talent show.
I tried literally HOURS over the weekend to put together clips of it to show here
only to be told over and over again that my files were "corrupt." Whatever.

So this morning I tried just putting 2 acts together, and it worked!

First is granddaughter Rachel, age 5.
She was SO excited about this talent show that she practiced A LOT.
She made it up, all by herself!

Next is grandson, Jonas, age 3.
This was major serious for him.
(please ignore his nose.)

Don't go yet.
Take a look at what my son Brock put together to represent our 4th.
His creative talent never ceases to amaze us.

That whole day/evening looked like SO MUCH FUN! Loved ALL OF IT! Really brought back a lot of memories of years past with my family when they were kids with cousins and then my grandkids with their cousins! Family says it all doesn't it? We are all so fortunate to have these magic memories. Love, Dad and Susan

It looks like you guys had a great 4th. We didn't get to do fireworks because our county sheriff said that morning that they were banning any kind of personal fireworks because of the fires we've had in the nearby areas. The grandkids were not happy about that. And that was a great video that Brock did!!! I loved the under water shots. He certainly is talented. Thanks for sharing your talent show and your 4th.

It certainly wasn't all our talent show. For some reason the different acts would just not transfer well to the movie maker. Maybe because most of the other acts were in the dark.

Wow, all that talent in one family! I bet it was a fun evening. The kids were so cute.

Looks like fun! We don't have the option of having our own fireworks in this neck of the woods. Not allowed! So we all have to go to the high school football field.

I loved this. I can just imagine what's going on in their sweet little minds as they perform. I also enjoyed the youtube video...you guys really know how to have fun!

Darlene~ We live right near the high school and we use to LOVE their display every 4th. We would watch it all from our backyard. But then apparently there were too many complaints about the noise, etc so the high school is now banned from fireworks on the 4th. But for some reason it is totally fine for them to shoot them off for Friday night football games!

She has mastered the grand jete! All on her own!!

And I love the break dancing.

PS. Great video, too. So beautifully done.

I enjoyed BOTH videos immensely! Such fun! And such wonderful memories to cherish!

We're not allowed to do fireworks here in NY, and this year I heard they were really cracking down on it ~ $1,000.00 fine and/or jail time! People take the chance every year anyway, but this year we didn't hear much noise at all.

Love and Prayers,
Eileen
