We are still on the road,
but my sister just sent me a video I wanted to pass along.
It's a tribute by a woman about her mother who passed away last year...
with lots of home movie clips and this sweet captivating song.
"...And she built my house on a rock. And she lived all that she taught..."

What a precious video! Love the song!
What a beautiful song and tribute to her mom. It is so sad because her mom couldn't be very old. It is always hard when people die before they have lived their whole life through. I guess I am very fortunate to have lived as long as I have. I still want to hang on for another few years so I can see Todd graduate and become a doctor. He will graduate in three more years and then he will do a residency and I would love to be here when he actually goes into practice on his own.
Thanks for posting this, Jill. The song is so beautiful. I wish I could have understand all the words, but I caught most of them.
Boy, do I love that! And I love the way that she wove the words of Primary songs into her lyrics.
Just beautiful.
=)
When do you leave for home?
It's so strange because I have never met you face to face, and yet we've been friends for more than 20 years! I think we must each have a strong ability to bond through writing. You feel like my kin to me. Anyway, I keep thinking, "Uh oh, maybe she'll move to Oregon! That's too far away." And yet, why not? I've never even been to the place where you live now! What difference does it make whether you are 300 miles away or 1000 miles away? Funny!

Jill, this was a beautiful post for me to come back to. I feel like I've been away forever, and I feel like I've been missing my own Mom so much lately. I think God inspired me to come here today.
I will have to come back tomorrow and catch up on all I've missed, right now my little man is needing something.
I've missed you. And I feel very much the same as Darlene, we've never met in person, but I do feel such a kinship. I do derive much pleasure, inspiration, and solace from your posts.
I haven't felt much like blogging lately. So much family disharmony, it's really emotionally draining.
Safe travels, Jill.
Love and Prayers,
Eileen
Thank you again Jill... I too love your posts. I just wanted to let you know how much you have done for me too!!! Love Robin
