My cell phone life and Jessica's first stake dance

I don't turn on my cell phone every day. I'm just not a cell phone person. Maybe every 2-3 days I use it. I carry it with me for emergencies but I just turn it on when I'm making a call. Basically anyway. Sort of.

So I tend to miss things. Texting sometimes has a day or 2 or 3 between messages. So sorry if anyone thought I was just being rude. Or that I didn't care enough to text back before 48 hours went by.

So, I'm not sure when Kris sent these 2 pictures to me....but they were so fun to see as I was sitting in the dentist's office this afternoon. I try to find ways to cheer myself while there.

Jessica's first church dance!  Makes my head swim. I remember the very first time I met Jessica (when Dennis and I were dating) and she was only TWO. And I still feel like a newlywed.

So Jessica is on the far left, and who are her 3 friends?
I'm hoping Kris will see this, and let me know.
I'm trying to think of what 3 names would go with Jessica.
I'm a lover of names.

All 4 very cute, and I love looking at their clothes!

In case you missed it, watch Jessica singing in a music store.
I still go back and watch this. I can't get enough of it.

I can't believe she is old enough either. She has turned into quite the young lady. The other girls are cute too.

They're all so pretty and modest! Love it! If you have your cell phone turned off most of the time, how do people call you?

Jessica is just too cute!!! Her parents are going to be having to fight off those boys!! I love her outfit. She has great style just like her Mom and Aunt Kim :)

Heather~~ I know, I'm from the dinosaur breed. People call me on my land line. If I'm not home then hopefully I get their message when I return. The old fashioned way.

I'm the same way with my phone=) I try to charge it and bring it with me if I go somewhere without Kevin, but that only happens once a week or so...at most. Such cute modest girls. All so stylish!

I love Jessica's dress! All four of those girls look lovely--I'm sure they had a blast at the stake dance. And I agree with what Amy says. They'll have to beat the boys off with a stick!

Such cute girls!

I answer texts better than my phone...My kids always complain about the fact that I don't catch my phone when it's ringing.

What a pretty girl Jessica is! I love how all these girls have such darling dresses on yet all are modest! Too bad Jake does not live by them, he loves stake dances....

Ok, that is so strange, but I actually posted that last comment, but it posted as Kim! So weird!

The girls are adorable and I love all the names ~ so glad I came here late so I could read all the comments!

I never carry my cell phone either, unless I know Jayden isn't feeling well and his school may need to call me, otherwise it sits here at home.

Jill, I came here by way of the Savage's blog, you were linked! Ray thought he was ordering me their book but what came in the mail was 'Misconception' which happened to be the other side of the story, the couple who the Savage's made such a wonderful gift to. I'm glad I read it, and it was interesting to see their perspective, but I came away disappointed that they didn't seem grateful enough. Isn't that terrible? That I should judge how grateful someone should feel?
I guess I was expecting to read about how heroic the Savage's are to the Morells, but that didn't come across to me in reading their story. I have to be more generous of heart, and I'm going to read the book again.
Love to you,
Eileen

Such sweet-looking girls! You're lucky to have a granddaughter as pretty as Jessica. I guess you have to check your phone more often so you're not missing pictures like these.
