Are you looking for a punch recipe?

Crushed ice looks prettier, but I didn't have any last night.

15 years ago my mother brought over her favorite punch recipe and taped it to the inside of one of my kitchen cupboard. It was the week of Brock's missionary farewell, and she knew I wanted to serve it. I ended up making it for all 4 of my sons' farewells. And a few weddings. And baby showers, wedding showers, birthday parties, church functions, and whatever else we celebrate. I try others, but my family likes this one the best.

Dennis and I don't handle/like sugar very well, so I've not tasted this in years. But it always brings back memories of my Mom making this in huge buckets and then transferring it to punch bowls at various large parties.

Just need these 3 ingredients plus water and ice.
Enough lemonade powder to make 1 gallon of lemonade but use only 2 quarts of water.
46 oz can pineapple juice
One 2 liter bottle of Sprite
lots of crushed ice

This is enough to serve a small crowd.
Like the one we had over last night.
Brock and Erin, Logan and Amy and their combined 9 children.

Don't want to overwhelm anyone in one post, so perhaps I will write about what we ate on a later date.

That sounds wonderful. How come Robin has never made it? Or, has she?

Oh, I would not have been overwhelmed, I would love to see what else you served!
My family would flip over this punch, they love pineapple. I just recently made them a pineapple stuffing with our Sunday dinner and they really liked that a lot.

Thanks for posting this, Jill, I'm going to try it at Jayden's Birthday party the end of this month!
Love to you,
Eileen

I make this same punch too...but sometimes I use Fresca instead of sprite. It is a grapefruit flavored soda...just a different flavor!

This sounds delicious! There would be way too much sugar for me in this drink but my family will love it! Of course, I'd have to try just a little bit of it :-) Thanks for sharing it!

I always loved this punch, but now that I know what is in it I am kind of grossed out. That is a LOT of sugar. Now I know why kids like it so much.

Oooooh, this sounds yummy! I have a friend who uses this recipe but switches out the Country Time to Crystal Light and the Sprite to Diet. The pineapple juice is enough sweetness but then you get kind of a diet aftertaste...the real version is much yummier!!! I love punch at special occasions! ;) Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the recipe, I'll try it for sure!! We have one too we call Hill's punch and it is just one can of frozen berry punch in a pitcher and instead of water we use Sierra Mist. It is always a hit too !!

I can't pinpoint an event I've ever had that punch at, but as you described it, I could taste it in my mouth.

Thanks for posting the recipe!
