Logan's determination

My son, Logan, wanted his grandparents here for Christmas.

So what does Logan do?

He buys himself a ticket to Phoenix.
Flies there yesterday.
And drives his grandparents the 10 hours back here.

10 hours straight riding in a car would have been too much for his grandparents, so Logan stayed with them in a hotel in Indio, part way home.

He will do the same in reverse when they are ready to go back to Arizona.

Logan works many 12 hour shifts as an RN. With 7 children to support he has been working many overtime shifts. So he does not have much time off. But he wanted to do this for them.

This will be a special Christmas having them with us.
McKay, Tyler and Karen fly in tomorrow!!

What a very nice thing for Logan to do for his grandparents! I'm sure this means a lot to them. You have wonderful sons and daughters-in-law. How very blessed you are! I love the pictures of the twins with their great-grandparents.

Beautiful!!
And they both look so happy and enjoying their time with the twins!

And, the twins are not crying at them!

I can see why Logan wanted to do this.

Merry Christmas!
Love,
Eileen

As long as the babies can see their parents they are fine. When we have them over here w/o their parents, their little heads keep darting around every which way looking for Mommy and Daddy. I just see that to mean there is good bonding going on. :)

That's the perfect Christmas story, Jill. That's what it's all about. Love, family, and sacrifice. Thanks for sharing it. And I'm glad you'll all be together.

Tell your son he made my day.

=)
