McKs in NYC

So Saturday when McKenna texted me this picture....
I must have seemed rude when I texted back,
"What are you doing there?"

I couldn't figure out why and how they got there.

Apparently I don't know my geography very well.

I thought Boston was at least 8 hours from NY.

Turns out it's only 3 hours!

So I got to see things (through them) that I've only seen on TV....

And even better than that....
I got to see more pictures of our sweet McKenna
since she is usually the one on the other side of the camera.

Not sure how Annie ended up in the arms of the pizza guy,
but there she is.

McKenna's brother Matt met them there.
Yep, I think there's a little family resemblance goin on here.

I can see Scarlett was loving NY, or maybe it was her Uncle Matt.

Thank you McKenna, McKay, Grant, Scarlett, and Annie
for sharing your NYC day with us!

Thank you also to Uncle Matt, and the pizza guy.

(It was sure fun watching all those pictures come in!)

These are such nice pictures of your family. Handsome son, beautiful grandchildren and McKenna looks as though she is modeling. So pretty.
I am also intrigued by the backgrounds....love the Statue of Liberty atop Scarlett's head like a crown. And why is that man lying face down on the street? Why are people walking in the street? Why is part of the street tinted blue/green? See the people pointing? Reminds me of "Is it a bird, is it a plane? It's Superman".
Jill...you crack me up with your geography assumptions. That's OK, I have a difficult time remembering where CA cities are located and how far you are from LA, San Fran, San Diego, etc.

That's a street people are walking on? I thought it was a walk way. I never even noticed that man lying in the street until you pointed him out...or those people pointing! You have detective eyes Pam.

What fun pictures, and what a neat opportunity for them to visit New York! They are really a darling family, Jill.

What a fun adventure for their family!! So, not only does McKenna have a sister not too far away from them in Boston but a brother a few hours from them. That's great! I remember our NYC trip a few years ago. I am a people watcher so it was fun to visit and watch all of the people, but as busy as it is there, I wouldn't want to live there. It does make for an adventure though!

Look what happened last night
