It's really happening

The McKs have been living in a hotel this week.
The entire contents of their house and car are on its way to the Boston area.

Must be very unsettling feeling homeless for about a week.

McKay was offered another actuarial job, and
because he wishes to become more diverse in his
field, he's making the switch.

The Goodbyes have got to be the hardest!

Soooooooo many tears were shed the past couple of days as we said goodbye to McKay, McKenna, Grant, Scarlett, and Annie. My kids are devastated. We love them so much, and have so enjoyed living near them this past year. But we are so excited for them and their new adventure on the East Coast. Looks like Tyler and Karen will just have to hang out with us! We're not as cool as the McK's but we sure enjoy spending time with all the Heasleys! :)

Such a cute but sad video. I remember when our dear friends moved clear across the country and how sad I was, so I know the McKs and Tyler and Karen must be having a rough time. The McKs will be such an asset to their new ward and neighborhood. Good luck to them!

Sounds like an adventure. My sister lived in Boston while her husband attended architectural school at Harvard. Her ward was more liberal there than her one in Utah, where they attend BYU, and I think she found it quite interesting. She also had Mitt Romney as a stake president.

Boston is also so rich in history!

=)

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
