Save your best for the afternoons

I took just a little bit of this video I happened to see this week on BYU channel, to share with you.
It really struck a cord with me because I remember learning this the hard way, back in the day.

Especially with school starting up again around here next week,
I thought this was such valuable advice…

That is wonderful advice! Kind of like not squeezing your scripture study in right before the end of your day, but make a good time for it - give your best time to the Lord. I need to work on both counts!

I think she did mention that that mid-late afternoon shift is also when mom is most tired. At my age, I need a short nap around 3 PM to revitalize myself. I could have used it when I still had little ones at home. And when I was nursing babies, I used their nap times to snooze a bit myself. Very good medicine! Helped a lot.
