Dancing the night away.

When I was a little girl I'd always wanted to take dance lessons.
I DID get to take them for a year when I was about 8 and SO loved
it. What a dream. But then that was that, and Mom said it was over.
However, I can't complain because I got a year more than my 3 sisters.

Watching my granddaughters perform last night was pure joy to me.

Cami and I, trying to entertain ourselves with selfies before the dancing begins….

Our little Camers is such a beauty. Agree?

Such a sweetheart she is.
I am awestruck by her.

And her sisters…
This just gives you a tiny taste of what we got to see last night.

Violet has her own style of dancing as you will see….
And I love how she waves to Mommy on stage at the end!

Thanks for sharing this. I love dance recitals! Violet is doing VERY well! I've seen a lot of recitals, and she seems quite coordinated and "with it" for her age. And Elora looks like this isn't her first year of tap. How long has she been doing it? And yes, Cami is a beauty!

They are soooo sweet! I always wanted to be a ballerina (still do) and i got to take ballet for a while. Then my mom got a piano and we had to take piano lessons instead. I am very thankful i took over 10 + years of lessons, but at the time, i hated it.

Actually I took dance for a year with Tammy Emler in Sami Masakian's garage in Sunnyside. The highlight of the year was getting to swim in her pool after the recital. I cried when I had to quit and offered to give up my Christmas and birthday presents that year to keep dancing. Peggy took lesson's in sister ORiley's garage. Not sure about Heidi.

Oh that's right I do remember Peggy's lessons at the O'Reilly's. I had forgotten all about that. Mom was into "fairness meaning equal", so maybe she gave us all a year? Too bad we couldn't all have become dancers.

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
