See you in 2 years, Austin!

Dennis and I got to be there last night when Austin was set apart to be a missionary!

We weren't there this morning when he said his goodbyes to his siblings,
but we did get to see him loving on the twins last night.
Next time he sees them they will be 6 and just getting ready for 1st grade! That's a crazy thought.

He's such a great big brother. He's been very involved with them literally since birth.

Later on this week the twins will be moving in with us for a couple days.
We will learn to "write" letters to their Austin.

Goodbye Austin. We are so proud of you!

I think my sons would agree with the picture below.
I do well remember the grieving my boys went through after their missions were over.
They were so happy to see us again, but they also were missing those they left behind.

We love those we serve. It's just the way it works.

There's a 'flood' in Addison, MI and it's not from our 16 days straight with rain!!! Even though we have never met, you are all in my heart, thoughts, and prayers. Exciting times ahead and I can't wait to read updates. All the best and many blessings to Austin.

What a happy bunch of siblings! Those two years will go by fast, and before you know it, they'll be celebrating him coming home. I, too, remember my sons really missing the people they left behind on their missions.

We are so grateful to Austin and the great friend he has been to Joel. I find it fitting that all these friends will be serving at the same time. They are an amazing Army of Helaman...can't wait to hear wonderful things from Austin. LOVE the quote by Pres. Hinckley...I will be sharing that with Joel. Thanks!

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
