Making lunches to go

They are BPA free, so no worries there.

While in Oregon I discovered a blog
about Mom who made a pledge
not to serve refined or processed foods
to her family for 100 days.

Once you get there, just scroll down a little.

She may inspire you.
I wish I still had someone to pack for!

I still wish that they made lunch containers that were NOT plastic. I'm trying to get away from plastic completely. I've switched to all glass pyrex storage containers, which I love. And there's got to be a better way to pack lunches. I love how this woman was inspired to pack real food for lunches, though. So much better.

I hear you Darlene. I'm not crazy about plastic either. But it is light, and not too expensive if they should get lost.

I've switched to all glass storage containers too....for my fridge storage I mean. When I send home leftovers to family or friends, I pack it in the cheap plastic containers so they don't have to worry about returning.

I want some. Where do you get them?

Oh, thank you, I will visit her as I still have Jayden to pack lunches for! He is able to buy lunch too, but that gets very expensive, so we'll have to save that as a special treat.

Jayden is a very picky eater, so I'm not sure of how much he'd eat of what she has posted, but it all sounds and looks wonderful to me! I'm going to give it a try! (Unfortunately Jayden's school is a 'peanut-free zone' due to so many children having allergies, so peanut butter sandwiches are definitely out.)

Thanks for this!
