She needs our prayers

One of the great blessings of the internet is being made aware of what is going on in others' lives.
People we don't even know.

This awareness gives us the opportunity to pray more for the direct benefit of others who are suffering.
This woman is suffering.
As hard as I try to imagine what this would be like, I just can't.
Prayer is very powerful and there is strength in numbers, and she needs ours.

This makes no sense to me. So I keep thinking of Neal Maxwell's quote in conference last Sunday,
"We cannot do all the sums or make it all add up
because we do not have all the numbers."

There is such power in prayer. Julie's story is so sad. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read her testimony and being able to say a prayer for her.

Hi Jill,
Do you know her? This is really strange - my mom called to tell me of Sheldon's death right after it happened. So I was very surprised to see who you were talking about when I clicked on the link.
Such a shock for everyone.
He is much younger than me so I didn't know him but my parents have known his family for many years. And I believe my mom and dad and his folks are still in the same ward.
This is a very sad story. We are already praying for the family and will continue...

No Mar I don't know her at all. I saw this story on another blog and I can't get her off my mind. So I thought the least I could was tell others. Prayer is the only thing that's going to get her through this. How interesting that your parents know them.
