He was just born about 30 minutes ago. 7 lbs exactly 20 1/2 inches. After about 3 hours of pushing they did a c section. McKay sounds very happy but McKenna was still getting stitched up so I didn't get to talk to her. What a trooper she was. What a very rough 27 hours total I think it was. But he's here and McKay says he is healthy and so cute. I could hear him in the background and he sounds so strong and good. It didn't even sound like a newborn cry, but a hearty older cry.
What a relief.
More details later. I have not slept yet so I'm going to try to get a few hours before the twins arrive this morning. :)

Woohoo!! I have been compulsively checking your blog for updates every 20 minutes or so since getting up with Rich a few hours ago.
I am so glad that he is here and that he is healthy. And of course he is adorable. I mean, with parents as good looking as McKay and McKenna, you can't go wrong.
I already miss McKay and McKenna. Hopefully it's not too too long till we can all get together again. (With our babies!!)
Congratulations, Grandma Honey!!
Joy To All!
(Poor McKenna though! I will pray for speedy healing!)
Love and Prayers,
Eileen
I am so happy for them. Can't wait to see pictures.
CONGRATS!! Sounds a little like my birthing experience and then they had to do a c section after all of the labor...the good thing about c sections is the baby comes out with a pretty face...perfectly round!
Congrats, Grandma!! Tell McKay to treat her like a queen still!! You raised him so I know he will!
Congratulations! I'm glad he's here and is healthy. I hope you can get some sleep after all of the excitement.
Wow! Bless McKenna's heart (and other places too.) So happy for the new parents. Love, Dad and Susan
Congradulations to McKay and McKennna! And another beautiful grandchild for you and Dennis! What a joy!
