Thank you McKenna for taking this picture!

McKenna did the best she could not being able to go inside that window. And it was SO SO SWEET of her to send it to me. She said it wasn't a very good picture but I said I will take whatever I can get.

This doesn't even look like the NICU....

I'm wondering if Baby Rich will look anything like this Indian baby.
His Daddy Tyler December 1985
And yes, he was born with a mustache and his hair was so long it stretched down the middle of his back.

Thank you Jay for just sending me this one. Isn't Karen beautiful?

More pictures to come....I hope I hope I hope.

Is that photo before he went to the NICU? I wonder because Tyler is in there and not gowned...and I don't know why but seeing him in there with flip-flops on made me giggle a little. Tyler was a darling baby. From what I can see, Richie seems to resemble him a little.
So glad McKenna and McKay were there. Family is such a blessing!

Oh my word! I am so glad I checked your blog while I am at work today - I currently don't have internet at home and had no idea Rich had come into the world!!!!!!!!!!!

It is so hard for me to comprehend that Tyler is a father. I am so happy for him and Karen. Their son is so lucky to have such wonderful parents. Congratulations to them and to you and to everyone!!!!

I just found out that no he's not in nicu. He's been in a special nursery that is not quite nicu. And Tyler called about 30 min ago and said Rich is in their room and Karen is nursing him. So he must be doing very well!!

That is wonderful news Jill. I guess he was ready to come. Are you sure that is Karen right after giving birth? She looks great.

I'm so happy for all of you. What a surprise that he came so early. It looks like all is well though and I'm also happy that he seems to be doing so well. They picked a great name, I think. My only son is Rich!! We used to call him Ricky but when he was four years old he came to me and said, "My name isn't Ricky any more, it's RICH." And I thought to myself that I liked Rich better too. Congratualations to all of you!
