They look like McKenna

It happened at church last Sunday. We were sitting behind 3 darling little girls and Dennis whispers to me, "They look like McKenna."

"Which one?'

"They all do," he says.

Good thing I know the mother because I asked if I could get out my camera. This picture does not do them justice since I took it practically on the run to my next class. (Which I admit, I never made it to since we were having a mini reunion in the foyer. After all, I watched the girls' Dad grow up in our ward since he was about 12.)

Chanel, Taya, and Avery

Do you see the resemblance?

This got me to thinking about McKay as a Dad.
Maybe he'll look a little like this:
holding Cami in 2005
But hopefully he'll have less of a 'deer in the headlights' look by then.

I had no idea maternity dresses are so hard to find until I read this blog post at the bartle bulletin.

Where do girls buy maternity clothes?
Please do tell.

I have 1 maternity dress that becomes progressively too short as my mid section expands. I just bought some leggings to go with it since maternity dresses don't seem to come in a longer length. I went through a similar ordeal as this woman finding something for my brother-in-law's wedding at the end of this month, and it was not easy! I ended up settling for a skirt (that isn't intended for maternity wear but has a stretchy waistband, so it works) with a cute maternity top. I basically just lower my standards for fashion when pregnant. I think an advantage of being pregnant in the summer is that it's easier to get away with more casual attire. Ok, there's my 2 cents.

I bought nearly all of my maternity clothes at Old Navy and Motherhood. We only have Wal-Mart here so I had to buy most of them online. It's hard to find maternity dresses because most of them are really short and/or sleeveless.

Yes! Dennis is right! I do see McKenna in those girls!
Maybe we're getting a little glimpse into your grandchild?

I think both McKay and McKenna are going to be amazing parents! God Bless!
Love and Prayers,
Eileen

There's a definite resemblance there, for sure.

I always bought my DIL's maternity clothes at a place called "Motherhood Maternity." I had to be selective, but there were many modest things there.

Cute girls, they do look a little like McKenna! Most of my maternity clothes have been purchased from Target and Old Navy (ordered online), but I am excited to live in a bigger city next time I am pregnant. I hope it will give me lots more options and the ability to try things on instead of just ordering them.

Cute cute girls. The blond hair is a dead give-away for looking like McKenna. Does their father have blond hair? Does their mother? If they both have, they are the typical Provo couple who reproduce blond blue-eyed kids. But, with McKay's dark hair, a brunette may appear. I sympathize with finding modest maternity clothes. Good luck with that girls. Love, Susan

Psh. McKenna and McKay's kids will be cuter. No contest.

(Don't get me wrong, those girls are very cute. But I still think that McKay and McKenna's kids will be cuter.)

Can I agree with Karen? After all we do have the same name.

I can't wait to see what our kids look like!!! And I would LOVE to know where to buy maternity clothes. Right now I'm still just trying to squeeze into stretchy pants and loose dresses!

I thought they were all over. What happened? You might need to check DI or something like that.

Yes, I see a resemblance to McKenna. And I think that "deer in the headlights" look of McKay's might only last a second or two when he first holds their baby.

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
