Life 24 years ago.

I have been even more sentimental than usual (if you can imagine that!) since learning my 2 youngest sons will be fathers in September. I showed Tyler as a toddler 2 weeks ago, and now here's my McKay...going back about 24 years!

The sound is way off sync but you get the general idea.
I didn't add the music...it was already there.

I don't know where baby Tyler was on this day....maybe asleep?

I try to visualize what their children will look like.
I so wish I had some video of Karen and McKenna!

I'm sure their children will be just as cute as they are! McKay still has that very charming smile and you haven't changed much either. Our children sure grow up much too fast, it seems. Thanks for sharing!

I LOVED the comment toward the end, "What's for dinner, cake?" STill laughing!

grandmaPeg... Yeah right. Nice try:)

Ammy~ I never heard that before you mentioned it! How could I have missed that. I thought he was just saying, "What's for dinner?"

So precious. How wonderful that you have these memories so well preserved and accessible. Love your "early" family. Love, Dad and Susan

I just saw some home video of McKenna around the same age at the Kirkpatricks' house a couple of months ago, she was just as darling then as she was now. I hope you have a chance to see it someday. Their baby is going to be so cute and sweet.

Heather~ I will ask McKenna if she can possibly bring that video when she comes at Christmas so I can see it. I would so love to see her as a little girl. No doubt she was darling.

Susan~ Strange that you were living here in our town at the time and we didn't even know you! Or, did you move here a few years after that?

Your children and grandchildren are all so beautiful and I'm sure the new additions will be just as beautiful (inside and out!).
This video is so cute, and I love how McKay tries to drag you into the picture!

I've been so sentimental lately too, and so emotional, I just start to tear up at any minute.

Love to you and all best wishes for your family,
Eileen

Once again, what I enjoy most is seeing YOU, Jill! It's so fun to see how energetic and attentive and loving you were to your little ones. What a treasure to have that video. Do you have any more?
We really WERE young once, weren't we? Here's proof!

I wish I had video of me! Unfortunately, I think all of our home videos were lost at some point--either when we moved to our house when I was three or by some other event.

The only video I remember ever watching of myself was one from when I was just 2 or 3 and we were visiting Galveston beach. (I think it was my first ocean experience.)
I remember that I ran into the ocean and back out again, convinced that the waves were chasing me.

Let's just assume I was adorable.

Karen~ That's what I'm assuming! If you looked anything like you do now, of course you were off the charts adorable.

Darlene~ Yes I have lots more. I'm trying to space them out so I don't bore everyone.

Eileen~Actually that wasn't me he was dragging into the video. I'm not sure who it was. :)

Robin~ Oh yes, I know what you mean. We wear our children right there on our face.

It'll be a very long time before I'm bored of any of your videos, Jill.

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
