He went from a baby to Mayor of Sanger

Here he is, Mayor Josh Mitchell:

Or rather, there he was as a baby.
I've known his Mom since we were young teenagers!

He was on the news recently.
He certainly speaks with authority. Take a look.

A baby on my couch, and now the mayor of a nearby town. This makes me feel like I've aged overnight.

"It's strange, isn't it? One of the "kids" I saw grow up in our ward was just called into the bishopric.

Odd feeling when the ones your ward raised become its leaders.

Sanger is a nice community. It's good to see that someone is standing up and taking action.

How cool is that. Hope they can get those issues taken care of. That is really sad.

LOL! It's nice to be able to see the little ones you are fond of grow into wonderful, contributing human beings. It's a great thing that you are associated with so many incredibly wonderful people!

Very impressive, it's great to see a good leader take such care with his responsibility. Wonderful stewardship!

And I know what you mean about 'aging overnight'! I feel that way when I see these grown men who were once little toddlers playing with my children!
Love,
Eileen

I've wondered what Josh is up to these days. That is crazy. I went to high school with him and I think he is just a year older than me. I remember when he was running for student body president he stood on the base of the flag pole and got a huge group of people around him during lunch time as he started campaigning. Little did I know that was the beginning of his political career.

My husband serves with him on the Sanger City Council and they are definitely stirring things up and trying to make this a better community. :)

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
