Beware

Logan was excited to receive in the mail today a present he had ordered to give at Christmas.
So he opens it and look what happens!

From what I am hearing, unfortunately, this is common place this year.
UPS is having a similar problem I've been told.

That is terrible. I liked his attitude though.

Oh, no. That's the pits!

PS. I agree with Karen about his attitude, though. Neat guy!

I've heard this a lot around here!

Just the other day Ray got a package delivered, and I called him at the office right away because the box was opened on one end, there was a hat in the box but no packing slip. I asked him if the hat was all he ordered and he said it was, I guess whoever opened and checked inside the box didn't want a hat. (And it was shipped UPS).

So sorry for Logan. 'Hope he can get the gift in time for Christmas now.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Love and Prayers,
Eileen

I couldn't understand what Logan said and I couldn't understand what you said--it's me and my hearing. I gather he ordered a gift and it wasn't in the package, but what's the scheme? Who took it? Need an interpreter. Sorry. Susan

I have never heard of that happening but I am so PARANOID that it will happen to me....I guess I better beware, huh!?!?

Susan~ Logan is just explaining how he order something for a gift and the pkg arrived empty. Obviously someone helped themselves because those pkgs just don't come undone without help.

That is terrible! On another not, someone should really give Logan his own talk show.

We have been really lucky this year I guess...doesn't the Book of Mormon talk about how people's belongs became "slippery"...(Mormon1:18)...poor Logan, bless him for his attitude.

That's a terrible thing to happen anywhere but you certainly don't expect it here in our country. Logan had a good attitude though, but what else can he do?

I can feel for him. I sent Brook a the only present she was going to receive from home and paid a pretty penny to assure it getting to her on time and guess what USPS lost it. I'm especially sad about it because they were sentimental things that I was sending her because this is the very first Christmas away from home...so sad, too bad!

They "lost" it, Kathy?? Did you have a tracking # on it? That is so sad...for you and for her! I wish we had at least insured our gifts but we didn't. But I think losing sentimental gifts would be the worst!

Logan's viewpoint is hilarious but that is sooooo sad that it happened and has happened to others as well. My husband had a suit stolen out of his suitcase when he checked it for a cross-country flight earlier this year. It's ridiculous because you would think the people that handle your luggage or packages have been screened and are trust-worthy!

Just thought I'd tell you USPS found Brook's gift and delivered it yesterday. I did have it insured but that wasn't the point. They put a tracer on it and it was found! Yipee!
I got the $65 I spent to send it because it was delivered by the gauranteed date. More money to buy Christmas presents. I'm so grateful!

Good for you Kathy! I hope my story turns out as well but I'm starting to think it won't. I sent the pkg a week ago today and still it has not arrived. I didn't get a track # on it, and I didn't have it insured. Live and learn I guess. :(

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
