Thank you...very much.

I want to thank each and every one of you who take time to read my blog each day,
or every week, or whenever you read it.
And Thank you for taking the time to comment!

I really do appreciate you.

May you have a very wonderful Thanksgiving Day!

We are waiting for the Provo travelers to arrive tomorrow!!
I can hardly wait.

One more thing for now. Today I think I was diagnosed with this:

Angular Cheilitis
Not a picture of me by the way.

Looks harmless doesn't it?
I don't think it's serious at all, and it's not contagious,
but it really hurts.
Not just to eat and talk, but it HURTS no matter what I do.
Very annoying.

The DR I saw today thinks it's caused by a vitamin deficiency so he took 5 vials of blood.
So meanwhile, have you ever experienced this?
If so, what did you do about it?
Tell me it doesn't take long to go away.

On a much more important note, be sure not to miss these 2 interviews:
Reagan's Piper Jane
and
Miggy's Lamp

I hope your sores don't look as bad as this person's, but seeing the cracks in the skin I can tell it would be very painful. I've never had this so I hope you have a quick recovery! I don't know of anyone that takes better care of themselves healthwise, than you, so it's hard to imagine that you could be vitamin deficient. Take care!

Thank you for your blog! You seem to enjoy life, and it always makes me smile.

Sorry to hear about the angular chilitis thing. Rotten luck to have that happen right before a holiday.

Yes, I've had it. I put carmex on it, and that worked.

=)

PS. Happy Thanksgiving back to you. Enjoy your kids and grandkids. Mine are coming today!! =D

There's probably lots of info on natural cures on the internet.
How long will your kids be staying?

Darlene~ I think they will only be here til Saturday morning. We will totally enjoy whatever time we have with them. It will be so fun having both couples here at the same time!

I hope you feel better soon!

I remembered reading something about this recently (I was looking for something for Jayden's VERY chapped lips), anyway, I just tried searching now again and they did say that a deficiency of Vitamin B could cause your problem. And one home remedy suggested drinking regular cow's milk, the enzymes in the milk help to kill the bacteria which speeds the healing process.
Oh, I hope this clears up soon, Jill.

Enjoy your family, Jill, and have a very Blessed Thanksgiving!

I loved the photos in your last post! Whenever Ray and I go to yard sales, or antique browsing I am drawn to those old sepia photos! And I often wonder about the folks, the lives they lived, where they might be today, etc.

Feel better, Jill!
Love and Prayers,
Eileen
PS ~ 'SO GRATEFUL I found you in blogland!

I get very dry in the winter and until you get the vitamins sorted out try putting Aquaphor on it. It's by the makers of Eucerin and will clear up even the driest of skin. It's pretty greasy so I usually put it on before going bed and by morning my dry skin is gone. Hope this helps! And I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family!

Jill, I don't know ANYBODY that take more vitamins than you! I can't imagine you would be deficient in anything!

Erin~ Turns out you are right. My tests came back and vitamin deficiency was not the problem. The Dr said it usually means one is low in Vit Bs or Iron but my levels are fine.

Jill....my son gets a form of Cheilitis, his is on his back though and they told us that it had to do with his body not processing proteins correctly. They had a cream that they prescribed and after about a week it cleared up.

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
