My Crazy Family

Didn't we all have visions in our heads of being calm, quiet, even a tad bit formal on Thanksgiving...sort of like the Norman Rockwell pictures. That was how I thought our family would be.

Instead I got this one.

I think the problem is, they all like each other too much.

Thank you Brock for videoing this.
Thank you McKay for editing it.
Thank you to all my girls for making most of the food today!!  Hurray!

It looks like they all had fun! If Brock is doing the filming, where are you and Dennis???? And where is a picture of the food and table decorations???? Enquiring minds want to know :-)))

Big problem...liking each other too much. By comparison it was pretty sedate at our house. Even Amanda commented on how no one had much energy this year. Not so at your house, apparently. I love your videos Jill!

I saw your Thanksgiving Kathy and that's the kind I want. We are having party #2 in about 2 hours and I am hoping for more sedate. :)

Peggy~ I was outside getting some fresh air while the inside football game was going on. Den was there in that room somewhere.

That looks about like our Thanksgiving did. Fun bedlam.

Maybe is was football in the house because Jill had stepped outside for fresh air? Or could it be that football in the house "happened" when you had 4 boys growing up in your house. It was normal.
My 5 boys sometimes skateboarded through the kitchen! And jumped over couches like hurdles! And had serious wrestling matches in the living room! All part of that "boy" energy lettin' off steam! I loved it, actually.

It looks like a perfect family time to me!!

Looks like a fun crowd! Amazing that the football remained mainly in "hands/crooks of arms/cradled between knees and chests" instead of on tables of plants, lamps, pictures, etc. That was the most controlled indoor football game ever! Loved it! Love, Dad and Susan

That was a great Turkey Bowl! Would have been even better if Elora had come up with the ball in the end. :) If you had the turkey bowl indoors, does that mean you had dinner outside? ha, ha!
I think it looked great! They love each other and you! Isn't that the best ever?!
I do hope you had a great week.

From the looks of it, you did.
